Here’s the prompt: You have the attention of seven of the most influential people on the planet, but only for five minutes – what would you pitch them? Think business proposals, not marriage proposals. Think Shark Tank, but make it BTS. And less aggressive. Maybe. I don’t know. I’ve never actually watched Shark Tank.
Category is: Anything you want. Well, kind of. Let’s break it down into these main topic areas:
- Music-related (e.g., song ideas or MV concepts)
- Entertainment (e.g., group challenges or shows)
- Literature/Art (e.g., a coffee table book idea)
- Products/Merch (e.g., a new product/product design or product upgrade/improvement)
- Activism/Philanthropy (e.g., an issue worth caring about or a cause worth giving to)
General Format:
- The Preamble. Background/expository information to introduce the idea in general. Not necessary, but sometimes context helps set the tone.
- The Pitch. The content of the actual pitch to the stars.
- The Poll. Vote to say if you’d watch it/buy it/eat it/read it/do it/see it/live it/be it….
Not familiar with BTS? That’s ok, you can play anyway! The prompt still stands, but maybe you could familiarize yourself with some of their music while you build your pitch. Not a requirement, just a friendly suggestion. But really, stick around – maybe someday we’ll expand pitches to other stars too….
